    Hey guys,

So I'm thinking of buying the laptop that MKang25 is selling on here, and would just like to know the possible upgrade available for it?

I know it can accept the gtx 280M, what about cpu-wise?

Anything else I should know about it before I buy it? :p

Not that I don't trust him, I just want to make sure I'll be happy with it!

CPU-wise you, there isn't anything worth upgrading to, as it can't take Core 2 Quads, so your only other choices would be the T9800 (2.93Ghz) and T9900 (3.06Ghz), neither of which is a worthy upgrade over the already speedy 2.8Ghz of the T9600.

As you know, the GTX 280M is compatible, and should be a ~20% gain over the 9800M GT. The 280M is currently quoted at $490, but you should be able to get at least $300 back by selling the 9800.

I'm guessing for the 280 I would have to buy it from someplace like XoticPC?

    Thanks for the help :)
