Warranty is providing a peace of mind, extended warranty even more so.
But does it mean that, if purchased machine is still under warranty, I can't open it to upgrade its RAM or SSD if I do not want to annul the warranty?
Can I open it to blow the dust away and clean vents?
What are the manufacturers' common policies regarding all these?

In truth, you are fine to upgrade your system, clean and re-paste it. Just make sure you don't destroy it in the process. Also, keep the original parts for warranty services.

    Thank you, Aikimox,
I've pretty much made my choice.
Will continue my search of where to buy now.
By the way, does anybody know where it's better to buy Sager laptop?
From Sager directly, or maybe XoticPC, elswhere?

Depends on your location. I'd go with XoticPC or LPC-Digital (they are new but already have positive feedback. Plus, they offer the best discounts at the moment)

Well, I am located in Illinois.
I guess both Sager and XoticPC are out of my state, so no sales tax here, I guess.
Sager is currently running special on the NP8760-S1.
About $100 less than identically configured NP8760-S1 at XoticPC.
Xotic is offering accidental coverage for LCD damage, but not for spills and drops.
Sager, as far as I can see, isn't including any accidental coverage in their warranty.
But their lower price on this machine is tempting and better extended warranty could be purchased elsewhere anyway.

I'd PM BabyHemi (LPC-Digital) to see if he can get you a better deal.
Alternatively - both are good options.

    Thanks man,
I just checked Xotic, Avadirect, Sager, and LPC-Digital online stores via Resellerratings.com. Xotic and Avadirect rated high, Sager is rated very low and LPC-Digital isn't listed.
What can you tell about the Lpc-digital?

    LPC-Digital is a new reseller, that's why they aren't yet listed @ Resellerratings.com.
But I know a few guys that bought from them recently (X7200) and were happy with the service and prices.

BabyHemi is their representative on this forum, AFAIK.
