Since now we know that Dell went a bit cheap with 7530 72% color gamut IPS panel (6 bit), I was wondering if a simple swap to 8 bit one is possible. The one installed in my machine is LG LP156WF6-SPB1. After some search on panelook.com, this is what I came up with:

    http://www.panelook.com/modelcompare.php?ids=24180,34302,34862,33006,32204

These are 8 bit panels, with brightness and contrast at least at the same level as the original one, with (supposedly) same mounting mechanism.

Any hints on either of them? First question that comes to my mind is if 120Hz/144Hz panels will work.
