Hi, i want to upgrade my Acer Aspire 5738ZG
Current spec:
Pentium Dual Core T4400 2.2GHz 1Mb Cache 800FSB(Can i overclock this one ?)
3Gb DDR3 Ram 1066MHz
ATI Radeon 5650 1Gb
Chipset Intel Cantiga GM45
I want to replace T4400 with T9400, but i wonder whether it will work because the current processor have 800MHz FSB. Will it work ?

Any help ?

I am not sure if Acer laptops are upgradeable in CPU.If y had an alienware or clevo/sager i could tell you that you could upgrade CPU.Plus the difference in FSB Means you can't upgrade it propably. If y want to upgrade and see some speed up is to buy an SSD or add some more RAM

Good chance it will work
Not a guarantee mind you.

Your laptop has the Mobile Gm45 Express Chipset, so it supports processors with a 1066MHz FSB speed.
