I am looking to upgrade my new Acer d250-1165 ram from 1gb to 2gb.

I am pretty sure it uses DDR2 533 SDRAM but I am having trouble finding a good price. I am looking to buy it for about $30 since most of the reviews said I should be able to find it in that range but the cheapest I can find is about $50. So maybe I am looking for the wrong ram or in the wrong places? If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great thanks!

No, sorry, thats Desktop memory, not laptop memory. Not interchangeable.
...the way you can tell is the Pins. 240-pin is desktop memory. 200-pin is laptop memory (well DDR2 at least ;) )

Well check this out for a 2GB Stick... :)
