I know it's definitely possible on a Dell Inspiron 6000 to do this same upgrade, but is it on this computer as well? Saw someone on these forums saying they did it, but didn't say how, and I don't wanna just open it up and go spelunking (sp?). Anyone know anywhere that has instructions on how to do it?

yes, it can be done. just look for a HMM (hardware maintainance manual) at the HP Website. i found the HMM of my nx6120 from there. and i was able to upgrade the processor of my laptop from a measly Celeron M 1.3GHz to a Pentium M 2GHz. i now have a full fledged Sonoma Centrino Platform

Having trouble finding it. Finding the normal manuals, but not a hardware one.
