Hi
I've read a lot about upgrading laptop CPUs and GPUs. I have a Sony Vaio FE21B, which has a Core Duo Processor 1.66GHZ T3200 and a Nvidia 7400 Go GPU.
The laptop is fine but I do use it a lot for watching tv and processing video so better processing would be helpful.
I have already upgraded the laptop to 2GB of RAM and have installed a new 160GB 7200RPM HDD which has made a noticable difference.
Looking on CPUZ my CPU socket is 479mPGA, what processer would fit that could give noticably better performance?
Also is it worth looking for upgrades for the graphics card.
Reason why im upgrading is that its a really nice laptop but I want to bring it up to date a bit.
Thanks
Will

You can upgrade to any socket M Core 2 Duo, and I believe the T7600 is the fastest of that group. You cannot upgrade the video card.

You mean you have a T2300 right?
There was no T3200 available for your laptop
You should have no problem upgrading to a T5300, T5500,T5600, T7200, T7400 or T7600 processor
You need a socket M processor
Socket P processors are not compatible
