Just bought a E1505 w/ 512 mb ram. Would like to buy another stick of 1 gb....there are two versions of Kensington that would work. Value stick priced at around $100 and another called INSP6000 for around $130. Is there a major difference between the two?

Did Dell give you 2 sticks of 256mb or just 1 512mb. Since there is ony 2 slots, this would be a good thing to know. I don't know much about Kensington, but I suggest looking at crucial memory as well on newegg.com.

Do you mean kingston? Kingston is good ram crucial is also excellent, both can be expensive. I prefer not to get value ram but thats just me. You will want to go dual channel and get two identical sticks (same size and brand)

Thanks y'all....I'll order Kensington once the Dell comes in. There is one 512mb stick in it. Biggest question, should i rachet it up to 1gb or 2? I know that the video card (256 X1400) "shares" 128mb with the mainboard.....Thoughts?
