whats up people. ive got a question for all the techies who might have a better idea than i. ive got an hp dv5 1225 laptop currently using amd athlon x2 QL62 workin at 2ghz. chip crapped out on me so i want to get a replacement chip with a bit more speed. im looking at a turion ultra ZM86 clocked at 2.4 ghz. not much of an increase bht itll still punch my pc where it feels good. both cpus run in a s1g2 socket but ql62 supports my ddr2-667 and zm86 supports ddr2-800. will my motherboard support the upgrade since the socket is the same? also would i be able to use my ddr2-667 ram? thanks
