Hey. I have recently acquired a Dell Latitude CSx notebook from my work (yea, we like to buy state-of-the-art technology...heh) and would like to upgrade the hard drive from the current 12.07GB (ATA-4?) hard drive to a 40GB ATA-6 hard drive. I was wondering if this would work, and if I would have any compatibility issues. When I google the p/n of my current hard drive, some listings say ATA-4, but others say ATA-66, but I don't actually see this written anywhere on the hard drive itself. It just lists "ATA/IDE". When I checked on the IBM p/n liste on their website with the p/n on my hard drive, it also just says ATA. Thoughts?

Buy a drive somewhere it is easy to return should it not work out. I would think it would work.
