I have an LG P1-J003A9 Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHZ 1GB DDR2 that I want to upgrade the memory from two 512MB to Corsair PC2-5300 1GB 1X1GB DDR2-667 two sticks.
Any of you know if this will work and how you go about adding memory to this notebook.
On the underside of the notebook there is an access panel for memory but there is only one stick/slot in there and not sure where the other is and how to get to it.
I need to decide within the next few days as the sale price is in effect only for that long.
Any help would be appreciated.

Is it the RAM on sale at NCIX? lol!
Anyways, one is underneath, and the other, if not underneath the notebook, should be under the keyboard. -
You got it coriolis.
NCIX is got the Corsair 1GB SODIMM for 27.99$ after MIR. Not to bad I'd say
Thanx for the quik reply. -
I bought it for $65 +tax each 2 weeks ago, I'm pretty annoyed LOL!
-
Ouch. Sorry to hear that man.
Do you think this ram would work with my lappy? -
Definately, yeap. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

I pay $105 per 1gb stick 7 months ago. With that money, I could've gotten 4 today... -
True, but 7 months ago is different from 12 days ago, the prices back then were understandable. But now, the prices are dropping like no tomorrow!
Upgrading Memory. Need some help.
