Most netbook hard drives come today with a 160gb hd and what not inside, and i was thinking the best way to not screw with the system yet add space, is to keep a 320gb hard drive (just plug in with USB) near it at all times with more files on it if needed, and just not touch the main hard drive inside of it already.

However, i was wondering, if i am suicidal and probably want to ruin all of my netbooks battery life and what not, is the hard drive in there a regular laptop HDD? Is it upgradable?

    Thanks in advance.

Depends on the model of the netbook. If it uses a 2.5" SATA drive, then you're set.

Thanks for the help! Just wasnt sure if they all used 2.5" hdd or if none of them did, but now taht i know its maybe maybe not, my problems all solved. Plus, id probably ruin the entire battery life by adding in different parts. Better to leave as is :D

    Thanks again!
