Hello and nice to see a decent forums here for some help. Mabye you guys can help give me some good news. I bought a Alienware M17 x comptuer about 4 years go and its been running great. But recently i have trouble trying to play a new PC game i downloaded. I dont play games to often but i played one 6 months ago and had no issues at all. Now its saying i need to upgrade my Nvidia drivers from 257.38 to at least 285.38. and when i try any upgrades its not working. saying No hardware compatable to install. Does this mean im out of luck and need a new computer as its 4 years old and such. I reformated my computer back to factory settings recently and thats when i could not update my Nvidia. Prifor to this i never had trouble playing my games or updating my Nvidia.
    here are my specs:
    Nvidia Geforce 9400M G
    Quad core 9300 2.53 GHz
    Ram 6.00 GB
Im afraid your going to tell me to get new computer as everyone else says that. but also alot of people say i should be able to play new games on low settings. which is what i had been doing past 6 months.

Well it depends on what games you play. in my honest opinion if you haven't had any problems before, i would upgrade the video card instead of buying a new laptop.
