I was looking around online but found no real help. There are two dimms in this machine. It came with 4 gigs already installed. It's some brand called Elipsa or something obscure so I was wondering if I should get two sticks of 4 gig RAM from a known brand. How can I find out which brands are compatible? And how about the RAM speed? Thanks for any tips.

Was also thinking of replacing the 320 GB 5400 HDD with a 7200 or even an SSD.

I just need to know if any laptop RAM should technically work. Thanks.
