If you want your notebook to be fast for online games: lower your playing resolution and your quality settings and also make sure you're connected via ethernet to enjoy the fastest possible experience.

Greater than 4GB RAM or an SSD will not speed up your gaming experience in any way shape or form - unless you're multi-tasking while you're gaming, of course.

Your notebook is only as fast as your slowest component. Replace/upgrade that and it will be faster.

Buying a SSD will only speed up your loading and saving times, not actual gameplay. RAM honestly won't make a difference between 4GB and 8GB with the games you're playing.

The only components that you can upgrade that'll boost actual gameplay will be your GPU (but you can't upgrade that; you need a new notebook) and the Ethernet/WiFi connection (WiFi is possible to replace, not sure about Ethernet). However, the 6770M is a pretty decent card and the CPU is no issue whatsoever, so I'd follow tiller's advice and lower your resolution/quality until you get acceptable frame rates.
