I've decided on upgrading my X60s to SSD. I've heard that my processor won't accept the 160GB HDD and that I needed at least a core 2 duo to run it. Is it the same way with SSD? Would this work on the X60s from my sig? Also, how do you recommend I do this? What's the cheapest, easiest way to copy my HDD to the new SSD and would I lose access to the hidden partition (recovery blue button) or would it be copied onto the new SSD?

Update: One last thing. This is 2.5", would it physically fit or would I need a 1.8"?

Don't buy that one it's to slow. It took me nearly 3 hours to install Windows XP on my NC8430.

Someone fed you a bunch of bs. You don't need a different processor for any HDD/SSD.

So a 200GB 7200rpm would be a better choice and would work?

Jedi, after the installation, was it also slow or was it only that part that was slow? With booting and transferring files and so on?
