    Hello,

The wireless card in my laptop is too weak for the situation I'm using it in, and I've been looking into either purchasing a new wireless card to install in it or purchasing a wireless usb adapter (such as the Ubiquiti Wifistation WifiStation | Ubiquiti Networks, Inc.) to get a better wireless connection.

Should I install a new wireless card or use a wireless usb adapter? What are the advantages of each approach?

    Thanks :)

How old is your laptop? That will determine if you can accept PCI, mini PCI-E half or full height.

If by chance it's full height mini PCI-E 4965 AGN or 5300AGN, or half height mini PCI-E 5300 AGN from Intel are highly recommended.
