So, my sister has finally gotten a new laptop, and her old Inspirion 6000 is soon coming to a waste. My friend has a computer at his dads house, but only go theres every 2 weeks. I figure he could take this one for the rest of his time at his moms. The only thing is is that she got the Intel GPU, and that could barely play games. Would it be possible to upgrade it to the X300 64mb or 128mb card it was originally offered with?
EDIT: Btw, yes. You can still buy it

Nope, not possible.

The X300 can't play games either.
I think there are two different motherboard models. One with out an Intel GPU, but a connector for the X300, and the other doesn't have a connector, but does have an Intel GPU.
My sister has a 6000, but she had me install Windows 7, and its pretty slow. With XP its much faster, and can do web surfing, music, and YouTube. -
Yeah I know, I was just gonna put the 64mb one in so that he could play some of the orig Half Life games and maybe Call of Duty or Fear 1 on lowest settings. My sisters had 1gb of RAM and I was gonna put TinyXP on
