You can replace the CPU with almost any first gen Core i processor that is socket PGA988. Though, I believe the Core i7 quads and Extreme CPU's will run too hot for your laptops cooling system.

You can't replace the video card, as it is part of the mainboard. This is the case with around 80-90% of laptops.

    Possible Upgrades:

If your laptop has the i7 640m processor, that is the fastest 35 watt dual core available.

If you have the i5 processor, there are several faster processors:

    i5-450m 2.4GHz
    i5-460m 2.53GHz
    i5-560m 2.66GHz
    i5-480m 2.66GHz
    i5-520m 2.4GHz
    i5-540m 2.53GHz
    i5-560m 2.66GHz
    i5-580m 2.66GHz
    i7-620m 2.66GHz
    i7-640m 2.8GHz

4820TG has the GPU soldered onto the motherboard. Unless there is a higher end motherboard for your model, there is no upgrading.
