I got a great deal on a Dell Studio 1558, but had to take the low res monitor, unfortunately in the process. I do graphics work so am looking to replace the monitor with a 1080 version.

Where can I find this part (can't seem to find dell part number)
DO I need any other part to handle the higher res?

    Dunno. Try ebay.
No. They are fully interchangeable. I swapped my Studio 15 from 720p to 1080p.

How's the picture on the 720p? Not taking resoultion into account.
How do the viewing angle and colors compare?
