Hello, Im asking for help here.

Im upgrading my Alienware 17 R3(2016) Laptops onboard GTX970M to AMD's ASUS ROG Strix RX480 via the alienware graphics amplifier.

Im wondering what do I need to do prior to have a smooth transition without any hiccups. I'll be connecting the card via the amplifier to an ultrawide monitor with display port.

I preemptively went ahead and created a system restore point just in case.
