I just picked up a Lenovo Thinkpad SL400 for $410 shipped.
Specs:
Celeron 2GHz, 800MHz FSB 1LB L2 Cache
1GB DDR2
DVD+RW
14.1" WXGA+ 1440x900
Intel 4500MHD
160GB 5400RPM
I want to replace the Celeron with a Core2Duo T7100 off of eBay. Will any one that is socket P work?

It will fit the socket, it is compatible with the chipset, but I am not sure if it is compatible with the BIOS or not. Check out the BIOS's release notes.
And you sure it is GM45 and not GL40 ? -
Ummm I'm not sure. I thought the GM45 was the one with the with the graphics (thus 4500). It could be the GL40
-
IDK, you can checkout the chipset with CPU-Z or Everest Pro or PC Wizard 2008. I think the GL40 has a lower clocked GMA 4500 (HD ?!). And I am sure the Celeron 575 has a bus speed of 667 MHz.
Its gonna be a gamble, since no one around here, has tried upgrading a Celeron CPU based on the GL40/GM45 chipset. -
Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
According to Google, all of the machines in the ThinkPad SL series have 45 series chipsets. That being said, the 45 series chipsets will support basically any socket P processor from the Celeron 530 all the way up to the T9600. And yes, that includes the T7100.
EDIT: There aren't any 800MHz FSB Celerons available. http://processorfinder.intel.com/List.aspx?ParentRadio=All&ProcFam=58&SearchKey=
Upgrading from a Celeron 575 (GM45) to T7100?
