Hi guys I recently ordered my NP8662 with a single stick of 2 GB ram (coming in 2 days :D ), I was planning on buying the second 2 gb stick myself. I was wondering how closely does the second stick of RAM have to match the first, ie speed, manufacturer.

Thanks for any info! (and sorry if it's already posted somewhere :( )

Same type ( DDR2, DDR3 ), and preferabbly speed ( though will downclock itself to match the slowest speed ).

The kind of ram you should be looking for is DDR3-1066mzh Ram. Manufacturer doesnt really matter.

Also, make sure it is a "SO-DIMM" and not a "DIMM", the difference being that they are laptop and desktop memory, respectively.
