So im looking at getting a Sager 8662 and I really want something with more battery=longer lasting. So has anyone taken apart a laptop battery, preferable the 8662 and added more cells to it making it last longer? Ho would I go about doing this?

Can be done. Suggest using a Asus 1000HE netbook's battery pack to donate the 18650 cells rather than the dealextreme (poor) cells noted at DIY Laptop Battery Rebuild post. They're the higher power 2900ma ones. Asus tend to use quality gear that lasts.

Suggest using highest quality Li-Ion 18650 cells you can find, Panasonic or Sanyo and similar, do not use 3,000 Ultrafire and such.
2800-2900 mAh seems to be the best you can get right now.
