I recently purchased an MSI GS60-Ghost laptop and wanted to change out the HDD for an SSD. I don't have much experience with upgrading laptops and was a bit confused on what all do to with the way the HDD is secured/setup inside the case. I'm posting a pic of the HDD to see if anyone could shed some light or give me some advice on what to do. I'm just a bit nervous doing it blind in a sense because if I scree something up it will void my warranty. Thanks in advance!

Does it not just slide to the right and then up?

I tried that and it feels like it wants to but that white strip is restricting it. Could I just unplug the strip and give that a go? I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT LAPTOPS lol. That last one I had was so simple in regards to replacing the hdd.

I actually accidentally figured it out. The strip that is restricting it is being held down by a small snapping mechanism that I accidentally popped open lol. got the SSD in and I'm good to go. Thanks for your reply!
