    Hi everyone,

I am not very good with computers - I just bought a ASUS M6Ne (15.4") notebook. I went to crucial and saw on the configurator that it has two memory slots upgradable to a Max. of 2 GB.

I bought 2 SODIMMs of 512 MB hoping to upgrade it to 1GB memory.
Upon unscrewing the DIMM cover at the base of the laptop, I was dismal to find only 1 Slot visible. The other slot must be hidden somewhere ??

Can anyone help to enlighten me as to how to get to the second slot?

The other one is under the keyboard. There is a link to a pdf guide in the ASUS manuals sticky section which will guide you thru how to get to this module and insert the ram. Just note that accessing this may void your warranty. Also this slot is usually fitted with a stick of 512Mb Ram?
    good luck

Thanks ever so much for your reply.
I had a look at the hardware PDF manual for the M6Ne but I can only find a reference to going to your authorised seller for upgrade of memory on page 57.

Can you please enlighten me on what do you mean by "stick" section ? and which PDF you are talking about?

Thank you ever so much for your help again !
