So... I'll be getting my new MBP 2.4Ghz on Monday, and I want to pick up a stick of 2GB memory to replace the original. I'm looking for a good deal and preferably from a Canadian website. Any suggestions on what I can get/what's compatible?

I've noticed alot of RAM advertising as "for Apple". Does this mean that Apple machines can only use memory specifically designed for them? Doesn't make much sense...

Apple uses the same memory as everyone else, PC5300 by the way. When they say apple memory they're just trying to get you pay more. I'm not in Canada so no help there.

Any laptop DDR2 will work... so you just have to look for some cheap DDR2-667.
