First off please let me say that I am new here (Hello everybody), and this ay have already been covered. If it has please give me the link to the thread. I want to upgrade to Blu-Ray on my laptop and I would like to know which drive to use and if anyone knows a good place to buy one. Now I am looking for a BD burner but I will settle for just a reader. Thank you for your time and for taking a look at my post.

My guess would be it's a SATA drive. You'll have to take the drive out, which is usually secured to the chassis with a screw(s). Sometime it requires you take the case apart, which manufacturers don't look kindly on in terms of the warranty. An off the shelf drive probably won't line up with the case. Sometimes you can swap the bezels, sometimes not. I don't have a recommendation for you as it's been quite some time since I've seen an Asus laptop.
