What I'd like to know is I have a chance to download a nice fully working copy of Vista Ultimate x64. I'm currently running Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I have everything backed up via Acronis Home 11. If I downloaded this new 64 bit OS would I be able to use the Acronis backup to reinstall all my apps and files on the new system? I've already upgraded my RAM to 4 GB, so I'm primed for 64 that way. Is it possible to do this with minimal anxiety and if so could someone give me a brief tutorial on the order of doing it . I have a feeling because of the drivers and such it's going to be impossible. Thanks

if you plan on moving from 32bit to 64bit, you will have to re-install all programs etc manually.
