    I have ordered a Samsung X65 laptop.

It comes with a T7300 and that will suit me fine for a while, however once it is out of warranty and the T7700/7800 are going for a song how easy would it be to upgrade?

If your chip isn't soldered to the motherboard, it shouldn't be too hard. Samsung will probably have a service manual somewhere online that gives you instructions as to how to dismantle your computer such that you can access the CPU socket.

Though just imo, I don't think it's really worthwhile to upgrade T7300 to T7700/7800.

I thought the jump from 2.0GHz to 2.6GHz would have made a noticable improvement.

There will be, but a T7700 will set you back like 200-300 dollars, which I don't think is worth the extra 600MHz. But of course if you're using a lot of really CPU intensive programs, you may feel differently; just a personal opinion.
