Now due to dell's addition of the t5550 to their 1520 configurator they have made the T7250 more expensive.

Is it reall worth it to get the 2.0ghz processor with 800FSB over the 1.83ghz processor with the 667mhz FSB?

Is it worth 100$ for a 133mhz upgrade to the fsb and a 177mhz upgrade to cpu?

100$ is a big sum of money i would say yes if it was t7500 but for t7250 is too much to be worth upgrade IMO, i have moved from t5500 to t7250 and speed significance is noticable but only when pushing the cpu to the limit otherwise it is even absolutely same.

Not worth it. Both have 2MB of L2 cache.

Yep that upgrade isn't worth it. Most likely you will won't max out your CPU anyways.

I max mine on a regular basis. Playing Football Manager with all leagues active = 100% CPU load.
