I want to use my phone (Blackberry bold 9700) as a receiver and view GPS data on my Macbook as I drive and the data gets transfered by bluetooth.

    Is this possible?

I don't believe blackberries can function as a GPS receiver.. I have the same phone as you and unless there is some custom app that does it, I know you can't do it via bluetooth or by a cable connetion to the Desktop Manager app.

Not unless you find a custom app for that.

Easier would be buying a 20-30 € Bluetooth GPS receiver... Or if you already have a Qualcomm WWAN in your laptop ;)
