I am having problems getting my Acer 3004WLCI to work with a Samsung 206BW 20” Widescreen external monitor. When I switch to the Samsung I can not see the whole screen but must stroll over to see the edges. I have tried setting the laptop screen resolution to 1680 X 1050 to match the monitor resolution. The monitor and its drivers work fine on my desktop but I am a little skittish about installing drivers for an external monitor on my laptop. I worry that this will blow away the driver for the internal LCD. Has anyone done this before?
    Thanks

well you don;t need to install drivers all monitors should work without it..
go to the monitor seletion like ati caltalist if you have ati
and choose the screen size for the external..
