    Dear Friends,

I'm moving from Windows XP to Windows Vista and am trying to decide on an instruction text. I guess we all know the "Dummies" series, but beyond that, what? I've gotten a recommendation for "Windows Vista: The Definitive Guide" by William Stanek.

Anyone familiar with the various texts on Vista available out there who can provide recommendations?

    Regards to all from,

    Jack Owens

I've always used the "Teach yourself Visually" series. They've got coloured pictures and cover a whole variety of subjects (one of them being Vista).

I have Special Edition Using: Microsoft Windows Vista. It pretty much covers everything with great detail, and I like that it's not "dry"-there is some humor mixed in as well, kinda like the "Dummies" books
