    Hi,

I have the HP Pavilion DV6324us notebook and as it comes without a PCMCIA slot (an express card slot is a bit too forward thinking IMHO). I want to know if there are any adapters and/or any other options that are available for this notebook that would allow me to use PCMCIA cards with the notebook.

    Thanks!

Yes there are. I found one for about $100. Just google "express card to pcmcia adapter". But why do you think express card is too forward thinking? And what is it you need that's PCMCIA?

There aren't any product out there that use the express card except for HP's own TV Tuner card for the Pavilion.

I need the PCMCIA slot for a soundcard so that i can connect my 5.1 speaker system to the notebook.
