    hello,

I own the notebook mentioned above which has 512MB of RAM which is not enough. It has two RAM-slots and one still left empty.

Can I just add a 1GB-module to that slot?

On the sony-webpage it says that this notebook only supports 1Gb of RAM as a maximum.

It has an i855PM northbridge and an ICH4-M southbridge.

    thanks in advance

what is micro-dimm ram? it uses standard ddr notebook-so-dimms (which are smaller than normal pc-ram) but actually not hard to find.

I am still just going to add 512MB (total of 1GB) ;) that is not too expensive (~8€ ;)
