I have a Gateway m series. It has HDMI and VGA ports, but no s video port. I am wanting to hook up to a large screen tv at our church for power point. How is the easy way to go from vga to s video. I checked with Gateway Tech support and they said that the vga did not have tv support. Don't really trust foreign tech though Thanks

You need a VGA -> SVID converter box.

    Take a look on eBay.

Dont just get the cable, if tech says that your graphics card does not support tv out through the vga slot than a simple vga -> rca cable will not work. You have to buy a converter box like johnnyflash said, unfortunately this will cost you upwards of 60 dollars or so. Its a pain in the that newer graphics cards only carry tv out through the hdmi slot making it near impossible to connect to standard definition TVs without paying dearly.

Make sure you know the proper software and components first before buying them in order to be sure that the setup will work..
