    Hi Everyone,
I want to up my memory from the 512 I've got to 1gb by adding another 512. But I've been confused by the differences I've seen in different choices. What is actually compatible with my system?

People I've talked to at Sony and Bestbuy seem to think that this 200-pin solution will work:
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...=cat01170&type=product&tab=1&id=1118845304999

But, visibly, that memory has a indent in the middle of the pins, where there is no key for that in my memory slot on my computer. When I go to Edgecorp
    http://www.edgetechcorp.com/store/Products/Sony/Vaio/VGN_S360P/
they seem to think that I need a 172-pin solution.

Has anyone here upgraded the memory in a S360 successfully? What did you use?

    Thanks!

I've successfully upgraded my s360p, basically futureshop and Bestbuys are stupid salesmen who dont know crap, other than reading their daily futureshop / BB Tech studies. Sony Vaio S360 uses MicroDimm which is a special type of ram its alot smaller than 200-pin which futureshop tryin to get u buy. This is a common mistake because most new laptop uses 200pin, but sony somehow preferred the smaller rare ram.

So edgetechcorp knows which ram =D. I'm 100% sure

You are looking for 172 pin microdimm. Newegg has some and look at swissbit too.
