Guys, I've had some serious problems with my Vaio VGN-S380. I got the dreaded "Error Loading Operating System" message, but before I use the recovery disks, I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to back up my hard drive. Only problem is, I can't get the machine open where I could pull out the hard drive.

Does anyone know how to dissamble these? We're talking an S380, not an "S series". There is definitely a difference. I've seen the picture tutorial for taking apart an S series. It doesn't help because mine has different compartments on the bottom. Don't ask me why.

Is there anyone out there who has my problem? Same model? PLEEEEASE!

    Thanks,

    Allen

EDIT: Sorry, deleted the post. Misread and initially thought you were talking about the SZ series.
