Hello everyone, sorry if this topic has been discussed before in this forum but the search feature did not return any specific results on the issue.
I'm hoping to add another(Secondary) HDD to my Sony Vaio AR150G. I opened it today and there was a secondary bay under the bonnet which would suggest that squeezing a new HDD would not be a big deal. I contacted Sony and they said this is not supported but I find it stupid to include the connectors and the space for no reason.
I have two questions: Has any of you tried that on the AR150G with any luck?
Plus, this series has the 4200 Fujitsu mhv2160bt which is 12.5 mm(0.49" ) in height and it looks that all newer HDDs are now 9.5mm(0.37 "). Would it be possible to get the 9.5 mm and place it in the slot without moving about and causing loss of data,..etc?

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Rock on!
