Has anyone taken delivery of the Valve Index Hardware System? It looks like the Indexers are back-ordered, but are included with the combination kit system purchase.
This is included for the Half-Life 3 reference: 4:22

Valve Index - First Impressions! No Man's Sky, Beat Saber, Pavlov VR Tested!

I finally got to my Valve Index in the mail! Super excited about this headset! Here are my first impressions:
1) Headset is built super well
2) Very comfy
3) Great speakers (not incredible, but great)
4) Good display, about the same level as the Rift S, but at a higher refresh rate
5) Refresh rate makes a huge difference in games like Beat Saber. Game changer.
6) No Man's Sky didn't play well at all.
7) Pavlov VR ran great!

Meh. It's just a toy most people will play with few times and then put into the closet. It will stay this way until game developers, especially MMORPG developers, will start integrating full motion capture for your in-game character. Meaning your in-game character will be able to do stuff like emotes without using pre-made emotes, using your full body movements, or dance without using pre-made dance animations, and do other stuff. Similar to what you can do in VRchat, but even VRchat is very limited since there are no good body motion sensors available right now for any VR kits, Oculus or Valve's **** (and yes, I have tried both of them). Until this will happen and I will be able to have "Ready Player One"-like experience - I will not be wasting my money on this, regardless of other people's opinions ;-)
