I am using a Mushkin MKNSSDCR480GB SSD drive in a Samsung 350E7C Laptop.
The drive is working fine except that if I leave the laptop switched off for several hours when I switch it on again it goes straight into the BIOS screen where it shows no HDD is installed. Exit the BIOS screen (using F10) and immediately reboot then all is well and the machine boots as it should, I can switch off and on again without any issues until the laptop is left switched off for a few hours i.e overnight (maybe it does not like the chilly room during the night).
It seems that the SSD is not waking up fast enough for the BIOS to detect it, I have tried changing BIOS settings to no avail (Fast boot is disabled).
I have tried on two identical laptops with same result. What do you good and knowledgeable people think, a bad SSD drive or bios incompatibility ( i have flashed to latest firmware).

Try changing the BIOS boot order so the SSD is not first or second, this may allow enough time for it to be seen in BIOS. (I assume your BIOS is up to date). If the issue persists and it is still under warranty I would return it & go with Samsung, Intel or Crucial
