My speaker produces a REALLY LOUD static noises when I am inserting the audio connector into the laptop.

Just a few things to narrow down the possibilities.

    1) Occurs with other computers, but not quite as loud as with my plugged in laptop (battery removed)
    2) Does NOT occur with headphones, portable gaming computers
    3) I can reproduce it to a smaller degree when i touch the adapter with my finger
    4) Once the audio jack is FULLY inserted, the static goes away

    Any thoughts?

Because the static when inserting the audio jack is EXTREMELY LOUD (at least twice as loud as playing anything at max volume) and I have never had this before so I'm not sure how to fix it.

There is technically a very low buzzing sound in the speakers, but I only really notice it if I put my ear RIGHT BESIDE the speaker.

Just seeing if anyone has had this particular problem in the past.

This is normal, the only thing I could suggest is set the volume on your speakers to as low as possible. Volume can be set to max on the laptop to get the desired sound levels. This should minimize the effect of the noise when plugging the speakers in. Or turn the speakers off, plug them in and turn them back on. This is not ideal, but there is not much you can do about it really.
