If you got $750 and want to play games, I'd suggest a desktop. No notebook in that price range is going to be a good gaming laptop. The x300 will work OK for current games and it is better than the Intel 900. Fo that amount you could build a good desktop gaming machine.

Don't want a desktop tho.I've got 2 dell and 1 HP desktop now.All of them stuffed into a 2br. townhouse apt. LOL................
Well,I just won't be gaming. But,I like the 6000.And will be buying it.Thing about going with a better processor tho. -

Well...X300 is the lowest-end PCI-express card avaliable today...it won't do very well at all with the latest PC games. You'll manage, at best, an SVGA (maybe XGA) resolution with low, or low-med settings...really depends on the game. But, if you are okay with those settings...then the notebook will be fine.
I would suggest getting a Pentium M if you are going to play games - it will help your frame rates, and with an X300, you're going to need them...
