    Hi,

At the end of summer i am going on 4-5 month long trip.
I usually take a ton of videos and photos(RAW) on trips and edit them at home on my Desktop.
For this trip i need to travel light and am looking to take a smallish and light laptop with me.
Other than some fat gaming 13" laptops, all seem to have the intel ULV or Core M ( which i don't consider ) in them.
I usually only travel with a small netbook to make backups and do office stuff. But i want something i can edit photos and videos on while travelling.
I don't think editing Photos with Lightroom will be a problem with ULV processors, but i have no idea how they handle 1080p editing / rendering.
My usual video things are 8-10min videos for every 2-3 days. No big effects, just cutting, small transitions, a little color grading and adding music.
I am using Davinci Resolve Lite, which does all i need it to do, but i am not married to that software so i would not mind switching to something more lightweight if it would help.

But i am mainly concerned if you can generally edit /render 1080p footage on ULV processors with reasonable performance.

edit: no idea how this ended up in this subforum, could have sworn i was in the hardware components forum.
