    Hi,

I have an offer for a laptop with 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ ) screen. However this is on a 14" so Im wondering if 1440 x 900 will be too small. Will the image displaying 1200x800 be "as good" on this screen - as opposed to a "native" 1200x800 screen?

1440x900@14" would give you 121 pixels per inch. I don't know about others but my eyes can't tolerate more than 112 pixels per inch. It's just too small for me. Lowering the resolution to anything other than the native resolution would make the screen looks ugly. Enlarging the font may make the layout look funny and defeat the purpose of having a large resolution.

It won't look as crisp as the native resolution. I think 1440x900 is fine for that size screen. I use it on my 15 inch screen and it is fine.
