I've got an Acer 5920G with 2GB of RAM and 1GB of Intel Turbomemory. I'm wondering whether to go for a USB pendrive and use Vista Readyboost (which means I would have to disable my turbomemory I think...). Windows runs smoothly at the moment, so my main concern is gaming performance - since Vista is such a memory hog anyway!
Would I benefit from a 2GB or even 4GB USB memory stick? I would try to go for a decent brand, so the transfer speeds are good. Also, does Vista 32bit limit me to 3.x GB of memory anyway, so any USB drive would be limited too? Thanks!

No, unfortunately, ready boost is more for those who have 1Gb or less ram... you have plenty.

vista should be fine with 2gb, all that ram hogging is due to better caching of vista. so actually it load up program/data that you use frequently on the RAM. unused ram is a wasted one.
vista readyboost is for ppl who have less than 1 gb of ram, then again... performance improvements said to be negligeble. seeing you already has 1gb of intel turbo memmory, you really dont need the readyboost. -
if you have any usb drives lying around just use that.

Shadowfate Wala pa rin ako maisip e.
You will not see any significant difference in performance since you already have 2 Gb RAM but if you can still try it if you still like someimprovements in response time.
Vista Readyboost - USB Flash Drive worthwhile?
