Does anyone know if Vista's "Readyboost" option speeds up boot-up times or does it just speed up performance after boot-up? Also, for those who've used it, how noticeable is the performance difference? Thanks.

ReadyBoost particularly improves performance at boot-up time because its cache doesn't go away when the machine shuts down (non-volatile). After boot-up, regular RAM memory caches (if available) perform better than ReadyBoost because RAM access is still faster. But once you shut down, all that RAM cache goes away...
Vista Readyboost -- faster bootup?
