Hey everyone,
Can someone tell me how to under-or-over volt my 8400m gs(with a g86 core)?

Even if the vbios is located in the main bios, you can still edit it if you know what you're doing.

Have you checked the power delivery system is capable of the voltage you want to set? It could well be a hard-line rail with no control. In this case you may have to break out the soldering iron if you even have any access to it on the PCB.

Yes,I think the power delivery system is capable of handling the voltage I want to give (1.15v),as that is the 2nd voltage of the card.I want to set this voltage as the 3d voltage too.How do I do that?

How do you know that?

Because it says so in GPU-Z and HWMonitor. And,it's lower than the 3d voltage of 1.2,so I'm assuming it's right.

Then you will need to extract your bios system bios, find the vbios within that, edit it using nibitor or the like and then repackage your bios with the changed file and flash it to your system.
Voltmodding means people usually want to raise their voltage, while technically correct most people use the term undervolting instead when talking about lowering the voltage. -
Ummm....actually,I did want to over-volt in the beginning, and I still would like to,but I wasn't sure whether that would be easily possible.......anyway,can someone guide me through extracting the vbios from the bios?
