Can anyone remember prices before the flooding? Currently, the best price on the 750GB Scorpio is $75. Worth waiting for deals?

$75? I'm sure I paid in the $100 range for mine (pre-flood prices).

I would buy at this price.

I paid around that for my 7K750 pre flood too, that puts the drive at ~0.10$ per GB which isn't bad.

The prices are going down again. I think $65-$75 USD for 500GB Black is good (New of course).

Thanks everyone! WD have recently posted a massive profit so I'm hoping for price falls.

Pre flood i got a used Samsung 1TB for like 60-65 shipped.

EDIT: prices are staying this way, who would give up record profits?
